History
Innovadeluxe’s history began in 2007, when a programmer and a designer met by chance in an online forum newly created by one of them. This forum was called TodoPrestaShop. It was the beginning of a friendship and collaboration that still lasts in the present, more than a decade later.
José and Alberto spent almost three years working together without ever having met each other in person, helping many merchants for free through the forum and also offering paid services for ecommerce creation. A kind of collaboration that most people can’t believe when talked about it. Three years maintaining a business as freelancers and without knowing each other. Not very usual, right?
In 2010, in the midst of the economic crisis in Spain, is when Innovadeluxe was finally founded as a company, and it’s at that moment when the real story of IDX begins. As excelents professionals joined the company, Innovadeluxe became and is now one of the industry leaders in terms of creating Ecommerce and Online Marketing for Ecommerce.
Team
IDX is formed by a team of professionals with proven experience in web development for Prestashop (certified by Prestashop) and management applications, design, web security, server administration, support, etc. In addition to a large team of online marketing specialists in SEO, SEM, Email Marketing and Social Media.
Our team, over the years, has specialized in e-commerce and Online Marketing applied to e-commerce. We have become top experts in the e-commerce platform Prestashop, the best in the industry today. Since Prestashop was born, we’ve been developing stores based on this technology, so we have become a reference as leaders in the field of creating Prestashop online stores.
A premise for us is that our customers have the best attention we can provide. We try to get involved in their projects. Our customers should know that in IDX we take care of our customers first and then potential customers, while other companies do just the opposite. We never make a client wait because we’re dealing with a budget for a potential client. Of that you can be sure, the satisfaction of our clients is our peace of mind.
IDX history year by year
TodoPrestaShop y PrestaShop Deluxe
The history begins at the end of 2007 with the TodoPrestashop forum, created shortly after the PrestaShop application was published. And the brand under which José and Alberto provide services, PrestaShop Deluxe, is created.
PrestaTheme brand is created
In 2008 we created the PrestaThemes website to sell PrestaShop template designs designed by Alberto and programmed by José.
PrestaModules
Just as we have built a website to sell templates, a new one is created to offer the modules developed by José.
Foundation of Innovadeluxe
In 2010, finally José and Alberto met in person and signed the deeds at a notary to create the company Innovadeluxe Diseño y Desarrollo Web, S.L. That same year the first employees were hired for the IDX team.
PrestaShop GOLD Certification
Shortly after creating the company, we were certified by PrestaShop, passing all technical tests. We were the first Spanish company to be certified and also with the highest certification at that time, GOLD.
InnovaShop [everywhere] TPV
In 2012 a new member joined the team, with whom we developed our first POS software to integrate PrestaShop with physical stores in real time.
PrestaShop PLATINUM Certification
After a couple of years maintaining the GOLD certification, we managed to reach the new top level and obtain the Platinum certification. Thanks to the team that had been joining the company, we gained experience and know-how.
PrestaShop Addons Modules Catalog
After several years developing modules for PrestaShop, for various functionalities, we started to sell the entire catalog in PrestaShop MarketPlace. Also, we got the highest level in support quality.
InnovaCommerce POS and ERP
Después de una primera experiencia con el desarrollo de Software con la After a first experience with software development with the application InnovaShop [everywhere], we decided to make a total change of the application to improve it. We used another programming language .Net C#. We incorporated more programmers and rewrote the entire software. We also expanded it with new functionalities to have a very powerful POS and a mini ERP for stores.
Certification as Module Creators
We got the Platinum certification as module creators for Prestashop Addons and the Superhero level in module quality and customer support. We also increased the number of modules for sale and kept creating new features.
Distributed company
The head office of the company is located in Alcalá de Henares (Madrid). In addition, until this date, we had another office in Seville. In 2017 we decided to close the Seville’s office and reduce the use of the Alcalá office, so that part of our team could work from different locations in Spain. So we became a distributed company in 2017.
PrestaShop SEO Agency Certification
Triple certification obtained by PrestaShop: as a Web agency implementing stores, as module creators and in 2018 as an agency specialized in SEO for PrestaShop. All of them at Platinum Level, the highest available.
Internationalization of the company
We started the first phase of our commitment to enter the international market. To be able to reach this goal, we hired people based in several countries to form a professional team that can offer global ecommerce and online marketing solutions internationally.
COVID-19
A very sad year for everyone, although there are always good things. During 2020, our team doubled from 15 employees to more than 30, half of them outside Spain. We nurtured our teams in Marketing, Design and Development to be able to take on the increase in requests in the wake of the pandemic. DX becomes a 100% distributed company.
Offices in Mexico and Portugal
We open offices in Mexico City and Lisbon to start offering all our services intensively in Mexico and Portugal. We also obtain a new Platinum certification for Portugal and Mexico.
We entered the list of the 60 best SEO Agencies in Spain created by the specialised media marketing4ecommerce in the 17th position and in the Top 1 of the best SEO Agencies PrestaShop.
